How to Show the Shipping Timeline on Preorder Products
When a product is on preorder, you can show customers when it's expected to ship — for example, "Shipping: As soon as possible" or a specific date — right on the product page. This is controlled by the Show shipping timeline setting inside your preorder offer. This guide shows how to turn it on, set the text, and choose one timeline for all products or a different one per product.
Turn On the Shipping Timeline
- In the STOQ app, go to Preorders → Offers and open your offer.
- Click Customize.
- Open the Shipping section.
- Under Display, enable checkbox for Show shipping timeline.
- In the Message field, enter the text customers should see (e.g., Shipping: As soon as possible).
- Click Save changes at the top right.
The shipping timeline now appears on the product page for any products linked to this offer.


Choose How the Timeline Is Set
In the Shipping timeline section at the top of the Shipping settings, choose one of:
- Same timeline for all products — set one shipping date or timeline that applies to every product in the offer.
- Different timeline for each product — set the shipping info individually. After saving, manage each product's timeline in the offer's Products section.

Set a different timeline for each product
When you choose Different timeline for each product, the per-product shipping field unlocks. (It stays locked while you're using one timeline for all products.)
- In the Shipping section, select Different timeline for each product, then click Save and exit the editor.
- Open the offer's Products section
- Find the product or variant and click directly into the field in the "Shipping" column against the prosuct
- Enter that product's shipping date or timeline — for example,
Ships in 2-3 weeks. - Repeat for each product, then click Save on the top bar.
Each product's shipping info then appears in the preorder widget on the product page, and in the cart and at checkout when those are enabled. Products you leave blank won't show a timeline.



Style the Note (Optional)
Under Display, you can match the note to your brand:
- Border radius — round the corners (in px).
- Text — the text color.
- Background — the background color.

Also Show the Timeline in the Cart and at Checkout
The setting above controls the product page. To show shipping info later in the buying flow like cart and checkout, use the offer's Advanced settings.
- In the offer editor, click Advanced.
- Under Cart, turn on Show fulfillment timeline in cart.
- Click Save.


Where It Appears
The shipping timeline shows in the shipping detail of the preorder information, below the Preorder button on the product page. On surfaces with a variant selector, it follows the same variant as the preorder button.
