Send shipping delay email for preorders
If a preorder product is delayed, it's important to keep your customers informed. Using STOQ, you can easily send a shipping update email to the customers who have purchased the delayed product in bulk or individually. Here's how you can do it.
Go to the "Reports" section from the left menu bar of the 'Stoq' app.
Select the "Preorders" tab.
Select one or more preorders that you wish to send the shipping delay email to and click on "Send shipping update" button.

Update the necessary information on the template pop up.
Subject: The subject of the email.
Header: The main heading of your email.
Description: The detailed message explaining the delay.
Once you're done, click "send email" to send the shipping delay email.

Click on the "Order Number" that you wish to send the preorder email for.

Click on "Send shipping update" button email.

Update the necessary information on the template pop up.

Once you're done, click "send email" to send the shipping delay email.

If the email is sent successfully, you'll see a toast "Shipping email sent" at the bottom of the screen.

If the email send has failed, you'll see a toast "Shipping email failed" at the bottom of the screen. In this case, you have to wait a few minutes and retry sending the email.
