Add Klaviyo API keys to Stoq to send back in stock alerts
Stoq allows you to connect your Klaviyo account to send transactional emails and notifications to customers. Follow these steps to complete the first step of setting up your integration - adding the API keys
Retrieve your Klaviyo API Keys
- Log in to your Klaviyo account at **https://www.klaviyo.com/ **
- Click on your name or initials in the bottom left corner of the screen
- In the pop-up menu, click on Settings
- In the Settings menu, click on Account
- In the Account settings page, click on API Keys in the sidebar menu
- Click Create Private API Key
- Give your API key a name like Stoq Integration - Full Access
- Select Full Access under Access Permissions to grant Stoq the necessary permissions to sync customer data and send emails
- Click "Create"
- You will see a "Private API Key" that starts with
pk_
& a Public API Key/Side ID. Keep this page open, you will need both keys to set up the integration in Stoq.
Paste your new keys in Stoq
- Log in to your Shopify admin account and navigate to STOQ
- In STOQ, click on "Back in stock alerts" in the app dropdown menu
- In the "Back in stock alerts" sidebar, click on "Notifications"
- Click the "Customize Email" button to open the email editor window
- In the email editor window, click on the "Email Template" tab
- In the "Email Provider" dropdown, select "Klaviyo"
- Paste your Klaviyo Public API Key into the "Enter your Klaviyo public API key / site ID" field
- Paste your Klaviyo Private API Key into the "Enter your Klaviyo private API key" field
- Click "Save changes" to connect your Klaviyo account
That's it! Stoq will now use Klaviyo to send your transactional emails. You can customize the email templates and sender information in your Klaviyo account.
